Capabilities
RSP's R&D capabilities open the door for our customers to unlisted amino acid analogues for custom R&D transactions (nonexclusive), exclusives (short and long term), and research partnerships. If exclusive, RSP's unlisted variants are kept totally separate from indexed analogues (e.g., our commercial index and pipeline survey).
Listed Products: Open Product Platform for Indexed and Surveyed Research Molecules
Alpha Amino Acid Analogues: Here we have taken the natural biological, the alpha amino acid, as our basic scaffold across 14 diversomer fields. RSP's alpha amino acid variants are market-selected, side-chain-substituted, trifunctional, and protected. Indexed and surveyed alpha amino acid analogues are listed for purchase and market selection.
There are 379 products (170 cores) in our Building Block Index for purchase and over 183 unique cores in our 4th Vintage market selection survey. All sales requests around listed products are confidential.
Researched and customer-advised analogue candidates are "written-in" to our survey by request. All new indexed analogues and pipeline issues are chemically researched prior to indexing and survey.
RSP's indexed analogues and market selection pipeline make up the speculative platform for our commercial research.
All indexed products have individual price considerations through semi-bulk quantities. If collections are desired in the range of 10 grams and up, with 6 or more analogues, then individual price consideration applies with additional consideration to ticket size at the high end.
Unlisted Analogues: Closed Service Format for Research Products
Rare Alpha Amino Acid Analogues: RSP's unlisted research and development activities focus on rare alpha variants ( 1 2 -, 11-, -methyl substituted amino acids, beta amino acids, reverse beta amino acids, bicyclo amino acid analogues, amino aldehydes, amino alcohols, N-alkylated amino acids, chiral diamines, diacids, beta amino aldehydes and aminosugars). Custom requests typically range from specific customer interests (e.g., (2S)-alpha methyl Trp) to focused interest on an existing product variant (e.g., Fmoc-(3S)-3-amino-4(4-piperidyl-N-Boc)butanoic acid).
Acceptable custom problems include research of a chiral unknown, racemates, general synthetic research, or previously developed analogues. In the case of a chiral unknown, we synthesize both enantiomers and/or the racemic mixture. In all cases, we provide full analytical support regarding relative and/or absolute configurations of single enantiomers.
For custom analogues, we are open to establishing supply agreements with deal conditions ranging from nonexclusive to short or long term (3 months to 5 years) exclusive. We can construct standing orders arrangements with convertibility. A customer can convert a standing order obligation, with consideration, to some other molecular property at par. Convertibility provides leverage and gives customers access to strategic material at semi-bulk pricing on a standing order basis.
